AGS Games in Production / An Orphan's Tale
« on: 12 Apr 2014, 12:51 »
An Orphan's Tale

After losing her family Gwyn is carted off to an orphanage were she learns that something isn't quite right. Escaping only leaves her alone in an unknown world left to fend for herself. Out of the frying pan, into the fire.

Calin Leafshade and I just made this game for MAGS but it was disqualified because it's not made with AGS.

So i'm posting it here so people can play it if thats ok. I know it's not suitable for the Completed Games forum because it's not made with AGS but it's still an adventure game.

Critics' Lounge / A morgue
« on: 08 Oct 2012, 02:01 »

I've just finished this background and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to improve as a painter. I've tried to keep the mood fairly cold because its a morgue but not too horror-like because its supposed to be a police morgue and so it wouldnt be 'spooky' in that sense.

I'm fairly happy with the composition I think (maybe, possibly, maybe) but critique on my technique would be very appreciated.

I did this background for the last background blitz and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of how to improve it.

I tried to give the whole thing a victorian, industrialist vibe with the active area being the platform next to the train.

any and all help is appreciated

Hello everyone Ive just finished this background and wondered if anyone could give me any pointers on making it better.

The gui frame was done  by Pinback.

Crime Noir

The background must exemplify everything about crime Noir.
Hard shadows and big cities are mandatory.

Faerie Tale Creature

No Colour or Size limit, be as adventures as you like, it just has to be animateable . :D
Bonus points for Backgrounds and animations.

I need help

This is my Gargoyle. his proportions are OK but the shading is pants. As you can see you cant really understand what's going on as my pixels are just too messy and I don't really know how to tidy them up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way his tail is floating because its wrapped around a wall.

General Discussion / Graphics Tablets
« on: 20 Jan 2010, 06:00 »
Hi guys. My graphics tablet is dying and I really need to get a new one. I've got  an Intuos 1 at the moment, I really like the Intuos 4 but I think they're a little out of my price range. Id really like one that has one to one tablet-to-screen mapping.

Could you suggest one I could buy?
