Hints & Tips / Re: Equalibrium

Haha yeah, I found out why  :)

...Which means I got through the sewer maze, yeayyyy. I'm glad mapping the entire thing was useful after all.

I'm so happy I made it through a full length game without requiring any real hints.

Enjoyed using the fish, I was as surprised as she was that it worked.

Oh, and liked Trent's reaction to both the 49/50 books traded.

I am wondering if giving the medkit to the cleric guy made a difference (was he Rosaline's saviour?)

And what was the coin for? The statue was not amused hehe. Then there was the bottle of water. well I'll check the other Equilibrium topics, so if you mentioned there, I'll see them.

Well, if you don't know by now, I really liked the game  :)

Thanks for the fun

That lighter had me stumped too for a long while hehe. Weird eh, cos it seems like a trivial thing to do.

The rope should be hanging on the wall behind him (it's that coiled brown thing)

*Ahem*, yeah, I did notice it afterwards.

Lets just say I thought the guy had an afro and goatee.

Anyways, I'm having a lot of fun with this game.

Spoiler: ShowHide
I think I'm near the end here, I'm playing as the dog character in the underground maze. Got the crowbar. Well there is a barrier that the dog can't get passed, so I became the human to pass over it, and I'm out of the maze (I knew that poster was fishy), but I guess Rosaline isn't out of the maze cos the game crashes with a message that 'the character isn't in the room.'

Well only writing that on the off chance I played events out of order, and there is a lill bug that will stop me from getting further. I'll keep searching around.

Hi, I really don't like to ask for hints, but....

It's about the rope. I gave the cleric guy the ID and stuff and he says I can have the rope, but what rope? I don't see it in the room anywhere and not in my inventory still. Is it a bug or should I investigate the wall panels???

Hmm, I'll keep digging around  :)

I think Rosie is referring to the an area where there is a cactus, a crate, and a boarded up mineshaft. I think it's just to the right of the house.

Well for me, the old man has always been in the bar at the beginning. Did you enter the house? Did you walk all the way to the right inside the bar?

If he was there, and he's not there now, then I reckon he's either in Starbucks or that area.

....Well this is just the kind of game ya wanna play at 3am in the dark  :-\

*meep*

I enjoyed the progressive build up of the game, reminds me of the film 'Saw'...which is one of my favourite movies, so I'm not complaining.

Nice visual feel to the game, and considering you only had one room to work with, I think it is an excellent game.  :)

Oh yeah, like Pelican, I was also afraid of opening the door hehe

man i cant even find the metal strip

Spoiler: ShowHide
Look around the middle square on the right hand side. The metal strip should be the bottom edge of that square. If you can't pick it up, you probably have to do something else first.

Thanks Andy.

Finished game 5 minutes after your help.

Thank you.

Thanks for the thanks  ;)

JG0630, you will need to do something with the wrench to continue.

Or more specifically (hey, no peeking..)

Spoiler: ShowHide
use the wrench on the shower pole in the locker room

Or if you have done that, then attach the magnet to the pole, and I really dunno what could be the problem after that

Fun fun game, He-Man!

I thought the puzzles were perfect difficulty level and well thought out. Made me laugh too  :)

Clicking on the hanging hose and the crate was rather frustrating for a few minutes though, ah well. I'm sure you're aware of what I mean. Can't complain when it's a free adventure game after all hehe.

Thanks for the game!

Yeah, this is similar to the hose pipe problem, where you have to click at a particular point for it to work. Try around the top right corner of the crate I think.

Spoiler: ShowHide
I'm pretty sure it was 'Use Crate'

Umm, when the door gets jammed, go outside the house, and it should be propped up next to the porch.

You might have to walk onto the ledge first as well.  I had to click different spots for that to happen as well.

Didn't there use to be a way to list all the games by when they were added to the archives. I liked this as I could see what new games had appeared whilst I was busy on a particular adventure. Well I'm not complaining or anything, just wondering why it is gone.

On the page where it says "*sigh* It's a real shame" , I usually have to click the reload button, and then it will appear.

www.agsforums.com
www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk

These 2 are the same site as far as I know, but if you are permanently logged into one, you can't stay logged in on the second. But yeah, you could also see if it doesn't work on the other site either.

Oh, okies then

Spoiler: ShowHide
I believe all you do from here, as a sheep, is visit the guy in the boat. But he will only listen if the sheep are in the field, so check out the field and see if the sheep are there. If they are not, you will have to redo that part in the lair. I think talking to any of the sheep will stop the sheep appearing in the field. Other than that, I don't know how to help...

I'm guessing you are in the trolls lair? Well...I think this is how it goes...

Spoiler: ShowHide
When you are a sheep, wait around for a while, and then it is time for sleep.
Then when it is morning and all the other sheep are leaving, give one of them a breath mint, and watch as it walks past the troll.

Took me a while to figure this out, cos if you talk to the sheep they stop moving, and then you're stuck. Anyways, hope this helps...

Hints & Tips / Re:Al Quest
« on: 24 Apr 2004, 04:37 »
This is one of the three things you need to do to complete the game, so there is quite a few things you need to do to get there.

Hint 1

Spoiler: ShowHide
You will need the gum from the trashcan in your home, use it on the shop floor to get the matches. Give the matches to the man at the bar to get cigarette papers

Hint 2

Spoiler: ShowHide
Search the garden

Hint 3

Spoiler: ShowHide
There is a gap between the two bushes leading to a hidden area, where you will find a mushroom

Hint 4

Spoiler: ShowHide
Use the mushroom with the cigarette papers, and give to the guy in the alley
