Colouring Ball: June 25 - July 4 - Abstraction

Abstraction.

Yet here they are, in small print:
 - The outline may be rotated and scaled
 - The outline may not be altered, but may be recoloured
 - Keep all of the content either inside or outside of the shape, but not both.
 - No colour limitations, although smaller palettes are preferable.
 - Have fun, every entry is welcome!  And you can submit a few!
Trophies will be supplied at the end.

I know I made another one without colors... but here's my favorite illusion. It's only two frames with the colors swapped, yet it looks like it's turning - and, additionally, it always moves into the direction you want it to move:

1x, with black frame

3x

PS. I felt an urge to participate, but if I win (which I doubt will happen, but anyway...) I won't be able to host the next Colouring Ball. So think of my entry as a "filler".
Trying to make my first AGS game.

There's an obvious form in there, but it came out quite unexpectedly: I was just playing around with the two colours.

Jim Reed, cool op-art, exactly what i was looking for here.
NsMn, "We must move forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!". Hypnotising stuff. :)
Stefano, beautiful colours and patterns, great job!
straydogstrut, neat picture, like the soft contrast. :)

So far so good, keep them coming!

Okay, that's it!
You all get solid chocolate bars, some even with shiny wrappers!

1st place - Jim Reed
2nd place - Stefano
3rd place - Intense Degree

And since all entries are very good, everyone else gets a consolation prize, well done, people!

Thanks for participating! Take it away, Jim!

It's abstract art, Piet style.

Yep, and that is the art I am best at, i.e. which is

1. Simple
2. Stolen based heavily on someone else's idea!  ;)
